Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
Arrival Hanoi. Welcome at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to the city.
Check in hotel. Free time for relax.
Electric cab or cyclo ride through the mazes of old quarter.
Welcome dinner.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – City tour
City tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Quan Thanh Temple – The temple dedicate the God to protect the North of the city and the Temple of Literature, first national university of Vietnam built in 1076. Visit old Hoa Lo prison (Hanoi Hilton Hotel).
Visit Bat Trang village, this village produced high quality ceramics for a thusand years. Enjoy a drive into the countryside, traveling along the Red River, and see how this pottery is made by hand.
Return to the city. Enjoy water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi & Overnight train to Sapa
After breakfast and check out. Drive to outskirt of Hanoi 20 km to visit Ha Thai village. Walking tour in the village. Visit the local market, local farmers with traditional production of votive offers. Walk to the rice field and visit poultry farms – duck farms of the local (90% agriculture production comes from small and midium holders – family runned). Return to Hanoi for lunch.
Afternoon: Visit Hanoi University of Agriculture and its experimental farms.
Return to Hanoi. Dinner. Transfer to the train station for night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.
Day 4: Lao Cai - Sapa
05.30 Arrive to Lao Cai train station, transfer to Sapa.
The whole area is spectacular, as Sapa lies in a valley surrounded by paddy fields in a variety of shades of green, but is overlooked by Vietnam’s highest mountain – Mount Fansipan.
Breakfast in local restaurant or hotel in Sapa. Visit the Church and Sapa maket in town.
Lunch & Check in the hotel around 13.00 or 14.00.
Walking to visit Cat Cat village in the afternoon.
Overnight in Sapa.
Day 5: Sapa
Morning: Drive to Heaven gate area – this the border between Lao Cai province and Lai Chau province with a beautiful scenery.
Visit Salmon fish farms and vegetable farms.
Return to the town at noon.
Afternoon: Walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home of The H’mong and Dzay minority people.
Overnight in Sapa.
Day 6: Sapa - Night train back to Hanoi
Morning: Free time for relax. Optional visit to Ham Rong mountain resort – the resort with flowers garden and best view to the town.
Afternoon: Transfer to Ma Tra village and walking tour to Ta Phin through the paddy fields and gardens of Red Dzao minority people. Visit the village before transfer to Lao Cai station.
Visit and take photos at the border between Vietnam and China.
Evening: Train back to Hanoi.
Overnight on train.
Day 7: Hanoi – Halong
Full day: Cruise and activites on the boat. Overnight on board.
Day 8: Halong
Full day: Cruise and activites on the boat. Overnight on board.
Day 9: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue
Morning: Cruise to the other side of the bay and explore the quite and beautiful area of the bay.
Afternoon: 12.00: Drive back to Hanoi. Visit Fruits and Vegetables Research Institute and the vegetable farms.
17.00: Dinner at local restaurant.
18.00: Transfer to the Railway Station for night train to Hue at 19.00.
Overnight on the train.
Day 10: Hue
Morning: 08.00: Arrive to Hue – the capital of Vietnam from 1802 – 1945 and transfer to hotel for check in. At leisure.
Afternoon: Visit the Imperial Citadel – Forbidden City and the tomb of King Tu Duc and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue
Morning: Boat trip on romantic Perfume River – the river runs through the city, visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the most famous and it is the symbol of Hue city. Drive to visit the tomb of King Minh Mang King Minh Mang, the second ruler of the Nguyen Dynasty, governed southern and central Vietnam from 1820 to 1840.
Afternon: Visit the old house of mandarins with nice gardens.
Visit the tradional handcraft village of making incense sticks or making bamboo stuffs.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 12: Hue - Danang - Hoi An
Drive to Hoian – 120 km from Hue City to the south, passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit Cham Museum, Marble Mountains, China Beach then proceed to Hoi An and transfer to hotel. Walking tour to visit the old town with ancient houses and temples.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 13: Hoi An
Morning: Visit Tra Que village to meet the local farmers and learn the local vegetable cultivation and production. Return to the hotel.
Afternoon: Free afternoon for relax.
Overnight in Hoian
Day 14: Hoi An – Quy Nhon
Morning: Transfer by coach to Quy Nhon located in Binh Dinh Province in central Vietnam, is a coastal gem known for its stunning beaches, rich history, and vibrant culture. The city boasts a mix of natural beauty and historical significance.
City tour with local attractions: Cham Tower Temple and and Han Mac Tu Hill, named after a famous Vietnamese poet.
Overnight in Quy Nhon.
Day 15: Quy Nhon & Farm visit
Morning: Drive to the organic farm for experience with the local farm, local agriculture products…Visit Chicken farm, duck farm, cow farm, wild pig farm, belly pig farm, vegetables farm and fish farm.
(Quy Nhon is very famous for good chicken all over Vietnam)
Enjoy lunch in the farm.
Afternoon: Return to the city for free time.
Overnight in Quy Nhon.
Day 16: Quy Nhon – Nha Trang
Morning: Drive to Nha Trang – a vibrant coastal city in Vietnam, renowned for its stunning beaches, islands, and cultural landmarks.
City tour with the visits to The Main Church and Long Son Pagoda: Known for its giant white Buddha statue and panoramic views of the city. Dam market – the biggest market in the city center.
Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 17: Nha Trang
Morning: Drive to visit local farm producing huge number of argicultural products and featured products of Khanh Hoa Province as: Cow farm, pig farm, chicken farm, fish farm, mango farm, papaya farm, bee farm….Lunch in the farm
Afternoon: Return to the city. Free time for relax and swimming at the beach.
Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 18: Nha Trang – Island tour
Experience the bay of Nha Trang with the first stop at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Then head out to Hon Mun Island where you have the chance for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Continue to Hon Tam Island where you have the choice of relaxing on the beach or water sports. Lunch stop at the fishing village of Lang Chai and then boarding the boat back to Nha Trang harbor. If time permits, we will visit the Po Nagar Towers, an outstanding of ancient Cham architecture before transfer back to the hotel. Be at leisure.
Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 19: Nha Trang – Da Lat
After breakfast, drive up to cool hills station of Dalat. Dalat was established as a hill station at the beginning of the century, Dalat is reminiscent of an alpine town with its French chalets and pine forests.
Here often called the “City of Eternal Spring,” is a charming destination in Vietnam known for its cool climate, stunning landscapes, and French colonial architecture
Check in. Visit the city flower garden and the church.
Overnight in Dalat.
Day 20: Da Lat
Visit the flower and the vegetable farms. Enjoy the panorama of the mountain and valley. Visit the coffee plantations and walking through the minority village to see the dailly life of the local. Explore the Elephant waterfall and cave. Visit the local rice wine making and silk making factory and leaning how to gets the silk from the cocoons.
Visit Linh An pagoda to enjoy the biggest bouddha statue and the crickets farm on the way back. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 21: Da Lat - Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to Ho Chi Minh City, passing by coffee and rubber plantation. Stop at Tan Chau for break and enjoy green tea – famous product of this area.
Arrive to Ho Chi Minh city in late afternoon. Check in.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 22: Ho Chi Minh City
City tour to visit Central Post Office – the old office with colonial architecture, The Opera House – one of the best opera house in Vietnam, City House and Presidential Palace – the building is the Southern Vietnamese President office during the American war. China Town and Thien Hau Pagoda. Free time for shopping in Ben Thanh market.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 23: Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to visit Southern Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Company Ltd. www.vinappro.com.vn.
Return to the city for lunch.
Vsit Trung Nguyen Coffee factory. Where we can see one of the biggest coffee processing factory in Vietnam. Its production is for local and export.
Return to Ho Chi Minh for dinner.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 24: Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to Cu Chi district. Visit high tech agriculture park. This is one of the most helpful project for modern agricultural in Ho Chi Minh city. Visit local farms: Orchid and melon plantation, Mushroom farm, small beef farm and worm farm of local farmers. Visit the underground tunnels. This underground tunnel system for Vietnamese living and fighting during American war.
Return to the city for dinner.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 25: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Can Tho City
Breakfast, check out and drive to Cai Be. Take the boat on Mekong River. Go to Tan Phong island to enjoy the rowing boat ride in small beautiful channels and visit the orchards. Passing to the Cai Be floating market (not so crowded as the old time) to visit the traditional workshops such as pottery, coconut candy, rice paper production and (visit the rice stores – whole sales business if is available – confirm later). Lunch in the old house.
Drive to Can Tho city in the afternoon. Check in hotel.
Overnight in Can Tho City.
Day 26: Can Tho – Chau Doc
Drive to visit Song Hau farm – one of the most famous farm in Vietnam with high quality agricultural products as rice, mango fruits, fish and beef… Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Chau Doc. Boat trip to visit the Floating houses – The Muslim village and then visit the Ba Chua Xu Temple. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 27: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh
08:00: Take speed boat up the mighty Mekong River to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia.
Boat transfer will be without guide but there will be staff on board assisting.
11: 00: Arriving at Sisowat Pier in Phnom Penh.
Note: Speed boat makes a stop at Vinh Xuong Gate in Vietnam to do exit visa. Then stop again at Khau Kaam Samnor Gate in Cambodia for immigration procedure then continue to Sisovat Pier in Phnom Penh. Visit to Silver Pagoda, Royal Palace, National Museum, Independence Monument and Wat Phnom.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 28: Phnom Penh
Visit to Toul Sleng Genocidal Museum and Choeung Ek “Killing Fields” 15 km from Phnom Penh city center. It was a camp of extermination under Pol Pot’s regime 1975 – 1978. Visit Royal University of Agriculture on the way back to the city.
Continue the afternoon tour visit to Handicraft Village where villagers using a semi mechanical loom to produce Krama (cotton scarf). Visit the weaving process, a tropical orchard and the Narouth Monastery, and shopping at Psar Toul Tompoung (Russian Market).
Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 29: Phnom Penh – Preah Sihanouk – Phnom Penh
Drive to Preah Sihanouk province – 230 km from Phnom Penh to visit the first Palm Oil plantation and company in Kingdom of Cambodia. This belongs to Mong Reththy Investment Cambodia Oil Palm company with 11.000 ha of plantaion and processing mill.
Return to Phnom Penh for dinner and stay in the hotel.
Day 30: Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham – Kamphong Thom
Drive to Kampong Thom (270 km from Phnom Penh – 5 hours and 30 minutes drive in good road), on the way visit pagodas, typical villages, local markets the famous red-soil province riches in industry crop especially rubber, tobacco, soybean… and other tropical plants of export quality.
Visit the biggest rubber plantation in the country, established during the French colonial time by the French tire maker Michelin..
Arrival in the Kampong Thom town and check in hotel.
Overnight in Kampong Thom.
Day 31: Kampong Thom – Siem Reap
Transfer to visit to Sambor Prei Kuk (former capital “Chenla”), group of temple, which is consists of about 200 temples of the pre-Angkorian City.
Lunch at local restaurant, continues the journey to Siem Reap (153 km from Kampong Thom).
Arrival in Siem Reap, visit Tonle Sap Great Lake, take a boat trip visit the floating village (take a boat cruise about 1hour), and then drive back to Siem Reap town.
Check in hotel.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 32: Siem Reap
Full day temple tour with visit Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its beauty and splendor. Visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Phemeanakas, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King.
Dinner at local restaurant with Cambodian traditional dance show.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 33: Siem Reap
Visit to Banteay Srei temple (10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Visit Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century. Visit to the Ta Prohm. Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan Temple
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 34: Siem Reap – Departure
08.30: Transfer to airport for departure flight.
